What is Adipic Acid Used For?

Adipic acid has a very wide range of applications. At present, adipic acid is mainly used to produce nylon 66. Caprolactam is prepared first, and then nylon 6 is formed by a polycondensation reaction. At the same time, adipic acid also reacts with other chemicals to form plasticizers and synthetic leather.
